The Kill Six
Movie Details
Synopsis | From Josh Pomer, the award winning director of The Westsides comes The Kill Six. The Kill travels Down Under. Pomer travels to Australia with Pancho Sullivan and scores the chance to film the best surfers in the world at Snapper Rocks and Margaret River and The Box. Pomer even swims with the sharks as he shoots some of his best water shots ever at The Box. Pancho rides through some gaping tubes along with Joel Parkinson, who is emerging as one of the best surfers in the world. The tubes are dark blue and deep. Pomer catches up with the crew at Snapper Rocks in rare form. Bruce Irons, Andy Irons, Shane Dorian and Dingo ride Burleigh Heads and Snapper Rocks like they were born inside the tube. The Hobgoods take center stage as they rip in the punchy beach break of the Gold Coast and the reef tubes of Western Oz. But The Kill Six never forgets its roots. Included is amazing surfing footage from the cold waters of Santa Cruz. Ratboy and Barney score the Santa Cruz Harbor sliding into heaving waves and making it look a little too easy. Barney grabs his crotch in glee after one too many tube rides. Highlights: Santa Cruz Harbor, Western Oz, Dean Morrison at Burleigh Heads, Slater at Snapper Rocks, Tahiti and a warm water beach break. Originally released in 2003 |
